The West Essex field hockey team still has a number of its goals ahead of it this season. But for one night, the Knights took a little time to celebrate and honor the senior members of their team.

The Knights also took care of business on the field, blanking Glen Ridge 7-0 to remain undefeated. Lia Sinisi and Gabby Girardi accounted for two goals and two assists apiece in the victory.

Janelle Perillo, Lizzy Cimilluca and Jordyn Thies also had goals for West Essex. Demi Russo had a pair of assists.

Erin Smith made one save and Paige Innarella stopped five as the two goalies shared the shutout.

Glen Ridge goalie Anna Whitney made eight saves. The Ridgers fall to 6-9-1 on the season.

West Essex is now 15-0-1 and recently won its fourth straight Essex County championship. The Knights' only tie came in their first game of the year against Voorhees.
