Morristown knows it has some challenging nights ahead in the NJAC's National Division on the wrestling mat. But the Colonials enjoyed an easy time of it in their league opener. With seven pins and three forfeit victories, Morristown took care Chatham, the newest member of the division, in a 70-6 romp. Four of the Colonials' pins came in less than 30 seconds.
Morristown is a rather young team this season, but hopes the newcomers will prove to be a strength rather than a vulnerability. For one night, at least, that proved to be the case. Chatham avoided the shutout via a pin by 138-pounder Dylan Mulcahy. For sports video highlights of this wrestling match, click play in the box at left. |
