While a few local wrestling teams took part in the state group finals this weekend, most took part in matches to keep ready for the upcoming districts.

At Dover, the Tigers hosted West Morris, Pope John and Pompton Lakes in a quad meet. West Morris scored a trio of wins over the three other squads, while Pompton Lakes came away with a pair of victories.

All local teams will take part in district tournaments, which open at various sites on Friday, with the finals on Saturday.
