With the celebration of a Passaic County title behind it, the Wayne Valley boys' lacrosse team had to get back to business. It took a while, but the Indians were able to win their eighth straight game, topping Pascack Valley 13-6. Billy Crank had four goals to lead the Wayne Valley offense. Alec Doyle scored three times, while David Drozjock and Rob Papa added two goals apiece.
Wayne Valley trailed 3-2 after one quarter, and held just a one-goal lead in the third period, but pulled away late in the contest. Pascack Valley was led by Chris Miele with three goals. Also known as the Indians, Pascack Valley is now 6-9 on the season. Wayne Valley improves to 13-3 and will play Lakeland on Thursday in a game to decide the Curcio Division title. Then Wayne Valley hosts Mount Olive Saturday in a first-round state playoff game.
