Behind eight goals from Ali Davies, the Wayne Hills girls' lacrosse team cruised to victory over Morristown-Beard. The Patriots took control in the first half and went on to a 19-10 triumph. Davies added two assists for a 10-point performance. Elise VanderMay had two goals and one assist, while Drew Schweibel and Jessica Collum added two goals apiece.
Kristen Russo also scored twice for Wayne Hills, but was injured while scoring her second goal and had to leave the field on a golf cart. Christina Vittas made eight saves for the Patriots. For Morristown-Beard, Alissa Masini had a big game offensively, scoring six times. Chelsea Kramer added two goals, the second being the 100th goal of her high school career.
