When Passaic Valley met Passaic in a first-round boys' volleyball New Jersey state tournament match, the Hornets weren't quite ready to see their season end. Led by Nick Hrehovcik, sixth-seeded Passaic Valley pulled out a three-game win to move on to the sectional quarterfinals.
