The Blue Devils made things interesting by scoring twice in the final minute, but Ridgewood controlled the next faceoff and ran out the clock.
Nick Bond and Brandon Leuthold both had hat tricks for Westfield. James Bohlinger notched a goal and four assists.
Defenseman Owen Colwell also scored for the Blue Devils and Toby Burgdorf made 10 saves. Westfield, which has faced a daunting schedule thus far this season, falls to 2-5.
