Delbarton got more than it expected in its boys' lacrosse match-up with a struggling Morristown-Beard team. The Crimson led at halftime and trailed by only one late in the third quarter before the Green Wave pulled away for the 14-10 victory. Michael Rutter had three goals and two assists for Delbarton, which went on a 9-1 run in the third and fourth quarters. Colin Crowley notched two goals and two assists, while Jack Chatwin had two goals and one helper.
Troy Higgins also scored twice for the Green Wave, while Rory Madigan contributed a goal and four assists. Connor Morin had a big first half for Morristown-Beard and ended up with four goals and three assists. Mack Iuliano also scored four times for the Crimson. Kevin Gill had a goal and two assists and goalie Garrett Ryon made 15 saves for Morristown-Beard. The Crimson fall to 6-14.
