Pingry earned its fifth straight win to start the boys' lacrosse season with a solid all-around effort against Watchung Hills. The Big Blue started quickly and gradually built its lead en route to the 12-6 home triumph. Austin Chang had four goals and two assists to lead Pingry's offense. Ben Shepard and Thomas Zusi both scored a pair of goals and added an assist, while George Enman also scored twice for the Big Blue.
Frankie Dillon made three saves for Pingry and David Metzger had four stops as they split duties in net. Chris Clintock and Tyler Furlong notched a pair of goals apiece for Watchung Hills. Brendan Dreyer had a goal and an assist and Brian Richmond also scored for the Warriors. Watchung Hills, which came into this Skyland Conference matchup with a three-game winning streak, falls to 3-2. Pingry, at 5-0, is ranked in the Top 20 in New Jersey.
