Behind an incredible performance in goal from Steve Rann, the Don Bosco Prep boys' lacrosse team earned an upset victory over Mountain Lakes. Rann made 18 saves and kept the Ironmen in the game until a late rally to pull out a 4-2 triumph. It's the second big win in a week for Don Bosco, which knocked off rival Bergen Catholic seven days earlier.

Russell Masci scored three times for Don Bosco. Dom Branda had the tiebreaking goal with just over four minutes to play and added an assist. Chet Morgis scored both goals for Mountain Lakes, which had a 20-10 edge in shots on goal in the contest. Joey Goodwin made six saves. The Lakers, who are ranked in the state's Top 20, fall to 6-3.
