Michael Pear and Michael Lagana both recorded hat tricks to lead Ramapo to an impressive win in the Ice Vault Holiday Classic. The Green Raiders pulled away in the second period and went on to defeat Park Regional, 7-1.

Lagana converted on a couple of impressive solo rushes for Ramapo, which had its best offensive showing of the season. Pear also added an assist. Zach Van Peenan scored a goal, while Michael Pazos and Dante Puleo notched a pair of assists apiece.

Luke Mutterer stopped 18 shots while playing the first two periods in goal for the Raiders. Matt Taylor made nine saves in the final session.

Joe Caggiano had the only goal for Park Regional, the combined ice hockey team of Whippany Park and Hanover Park high schools. Tyler Cross and Justin Lerner got the assists.

Chris Schneider made 23 saves for The Park, which falls to 5-6.

Ramapo is now 3-5-2.
