Behind a 25-point performance from Derrick Cuavers, Passaic Tech fended off a challenge from West Milford. Down four points in the third quarter, the Bulldogs outscored the Highlanders by 14 points the rest of the way to earn the 74-64 boys' basketball win.

Cuavers also had 10 rebounds and five assists for Passaic Tech. Julian Briggs scored 14 points, while Toknowa Thomas notched 12 for the Bulldogs. Christian Przybyla added nine points on a trio of three-pointers.

The Bulldogs outscored West Milford 24-17 in the fourth quarter.

Passaic Tech overcame a big game from West Milford's Andrew Finke. Finke hit a three-pointer in each quarter and ended up with 24 points for the Highlanders.

Josiah Basket scored 16 for West Milford, while Zack Licursi contributed 12 points.

The Highlanders slip to 3-7 on the season.

Passaic Tech picked up its second straight win to get to 4-5.
