VIDEO: Morristown-Beard clips Kinnelon to reach MCT semifinal
Written by - Saturday, February 11 2017

Morristown-Beard rolled to victory without much drama in its Morris County Tournament boys' basketball quarterfinal against Kinnelon. But a scene at the end of the 53-36 triumph demonstrated that it is far from business as usual for the top-seeded Crimson.

After the final buzzer, the Morristown-Beard players rushed over to embrace head coach Ed Franz alongside the court. Franz hasn't been coaching the team for the past few games as he deals with cancer, but showed up at Randolph High School to watch this tournament game.
