Morristown-Beard took the lead after a wild first quarter of its boys' lacrosse contest against Mendham. The Crimson never let that advantage get away, as they held on to post an 11-9 road victory. Connor Morin had a huge offensive day, posting eight points with three goals and five assists for Morristown-Beard. Mac Boyle scored four goals for the Crimson along with an assist, while Jay Goldy had three goals and one assist.
Sam Hatfield notched one goal and one assist. Goalie Garrett Ryon was credited with 18 saves for Morristown-Beard. The Crimson led 6-4 after the first quarter, and never gave up the lead, although they also never led by more than three goals in the contest. Jack Anderson led Mendham with three goals and an assist. Kevin Sansone also recorded a hat trick for the Minutemen. Quinn Cembrinski had a goal and two assists, while Ethan Curtis and Will Trinkoff also scored. Mendham falls to 5-3 with the loss. Morristown-Beard improves to 5-2 with the victory.
