Recording six pins in a strong team performance, the River Dell wrestling squad earned a win over divisional rival Pascack Hills. The Golden Hawks won the first six bouts, as well as the final six, in their 58-12 triumph.

Paul Kallensee and Ross Goodman opened the match with a pair of pins for River Dell, which went on to build a 28-0 lead. After Pascack Hills notched two pins to close the deficit, the Golden Hawks came right back with three straight falls to secure the victory.

Jared Wagriech, Kyle Taibot and Jotaro Kurachi had those consecutive pins at 106, 113 and 120 pounds. Andreas Harilaou also notched a fall for River Dell.

The only two bout wins for Pascack Hills came by fall, by 220-pounder Salvatore Campana and heavyweight Damian Zalewski. The Cowboys are now 10-8 on the season.

River Dell improves to 15-2. The Golden Hawks now face Westwood Friday in a showdown for the Big North Conference Patriot Division title.
