Clearly, Ramapo and Wayne Hills are fit to be tied this ice hockey season. Wayne Hills rallied twice in the final minutes to pull out a 4-4 tie with the Green Raiders. It's the second draw between the teams in their two meetings this winter.
Overall, Ramapo now has five ties on the season and the Patriots have four. Wayne Hills erased a 3-0 deficit to tie the game with 2:01 left to play on a Tyler Mirman goal. Ramapo answered just 43 seconds later, with Dalton Graham scoring his second goal of the night. But the Patriots remarkably came back right off the ensuing faceoff, with Dean Hulbert knocking in his own rebound for the final goal with 59 seconds left on the clock. Graham also had an assist for Ramapo. Graham key notched a goal and an assist and Jake Pergolizzi also scored. Daniel Mirman and Hulbert had a goal and an assist for Wayne Hills. Thomas Schweighardt scored and goalie Chris Stammer made 26 saves. Cort Fodi stopped 34 shots for Ramapo, which is now 4-4-5. Wayne Hills is 5-4-4.
