|VIDEO: Mouawad goal lifts Bergen Catholic by Northern Highlands|
Henry Mouawad scored early in the second half for the only goal of the game as Bergen Catholic preserved its unbeaten boys' soccer record. Mouawad converted a pass from Myles Franklin for the 1-0 road win over Northern Highlands.
The Crusaders had more chances over the first hour of the contest, but were denied a number of times by Northern Highlands goalkeeper Colin Branigan. Branigan had six saves on the day.
In the final minutes of the contest, the Highlanders created a few good chances, but could not find the tying goal. Nick Vafiadis had six saves in net for Bergen Catholic.
With just a minute to play, Northern Highlands very nearly knotted the score, only for Crusaders defender Ian Sykes to save the ball off the line.
The Highlanders' up-and-down season continues as they fall to 5-5-1.
Bergen Catholic is 10-0 heading into a rematch with arch-rival Don Bosco Prep.
