With a second consecutive shutout victory, the Ramapo ice hockey team completed a triumphant run through the Ice Vault Holiday Classic. The 7-0 win over Park Regional gave the Green Raiders the title in the Sierra Mist division of the event. Jake Pergolizzi and Dalton Graham led the Ramapo offense with two goals and one assist apiece. Zach Van Peenan had a goal and an assist, and Michael Pear and Ben Surat also had goals.
Stephen Schwab notched two assists for the Green Raiders. Goalies Cort Fodi and Luke Mutterer combined for 11 saves to earn the shutout as Ramapo outshot The Park, 34-11. Christopher Gamba made 27 saves in net for Park Regional. The combined Whippany Park/Hanover Park team dropped its sixth straight game to fall to 3-7 on the season.
