The way Mount St. Dominic is playing this softball season, even their nemesis can't slow the Lady Lions down. The #1-ranked team in New Jersey improved to 25-1 by shutting out Livingston, 9-0. Mount St. Dominic scored five times in the fourth inning to break open a scoreless game, and Kelsey Oh fired a one-hitter.
Helyna Bissell ripped a two-run homer as part of the pivotal rally. Ally Dabroski went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs for the Lady Lions, while Oh added a two-run single. In the circle, Oh struck out 11 batters while walking two and allowing the single hit. Livingston is 16-8 this season. Mount St. Dominic remains unbeaten against New Jersey opponents and ranked #1 in the Garden State. The defending Non-Public A state champions has a first-round bye in this year's tournament and isn't scheduled to play its first state game until May 26.
